Principal Sponsor

|
"Australia Unlimited gives us a chance to reflect on the future of Australia. And maybe it will help future generations to look back with some approval on far reaching decisions made in this generation. I hope so and I applaud the Global Foundation for facilitating the roundtable.
Australia’s global positioning, our economic and political future, responsible and sustainable development, lifting the capabilities of this and future generations, meeting our social challenges - all these are fundamental to our future and deserve our full attention. I encourage all participants to embrace the challenge of debate at the round table discussions, and to adapt what you learn here into relevant action in your business and personal lives.
Shell Australia is proud to be principal sponsor of the Australia Unlimited roundtable."
Mr Russell Caplan, Chairman, Shell
Shell is a major energy organisation employing over 3200 people in Australia. The essential products supplied by our businesses and the jobs they generate in the areas of production and distribution make a significant contribution to the Australian economy. Shell’s upstream business finds, develops and supplies natural gas in the form of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to overseas markets and by pipeline to domestic customers in Western Australia. Shell’s downstream business trades with over 50,000 customers throughout the country and supplies a quarter of Australia’s petrol and diesel requirements. Our operations in Australia include two refineries, 19 terminals, 33 depots and interests in major gas commercialization projects in Australian waters. |
